Questions
Do I need an AI subscription?
No. Notes, screenshots and Open in AI chat work without one, and the offline cleaner tidies notes on your computer. If you already pay for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or GitHub Copilot, Lazy as can use that to write your prompts, at no extra cost from us.
What happens when the trial ends?
You keep the free plan: 100 notes a month, every capture feature, prompts and Open in AI chat. Your sessions stay on your computer whatever you do.
Discounts?
Students and teachers get 50% off; email us from your school address. If prices in US dollars are steep where you live, write to us and we'll sort out a regional price.
How many computers?
A personal licence is for you, on up to 3 computers at once (any mix of Mac, Windows and Linux). Team: 2 computers per seat. New computer? Free the old one in the app or at your licence, up to 5 times a month.
Do I need an account?
No passwords. Your email at checkout is your account: your licence emails you a link to get your key again, see your computers and change or cancel your plan. The app checks in with our licence server about once a week and works offline for 30 days in between (details).
What does lifetime mean?
The lifetime of Lazy as: every version we release, no subscription. If we ever stop making it, your copy keeps working, and we'll release a final version that doesn't need our licence server.
Refunds?
Within 30 days, for any reason. See refunds.
Who sells it?
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle charges the right sales tax or VAT for your country.
Are prices with tax?
Prices are in US dollars before any VAT or sales tax, which depends on where you live. The checkout shows your total before you pay.
By buying you agree to the terms and the licence agreement.
